Jingyi Gu

I’m currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at New Jersey Institute of Technology, advised by Prof. Guiling (Grace) Wang. I received my M.S. degree in Data Science (Statistics track) from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2019, and Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Statistics from Xiamen University in 2017.

Research Interest

I’m interested in Applied Machine Learning and Data Mining, especially Adversarial Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Graph Neural Networks, and Natural Language Processing with applications to real-world scenarios (e.g. Financial Time Series, Portfolio Management, Molecular Representation Learning, Computer Vision, and Traffic Light Control)
